7 updates [edited]

Okay. Actually many things happened but I was just too lazy to blog about it. So…

Update #1

I can’t stand lala people. Cousin, his girlfriend and friends finally went back to JB. The amount of lala-ness I had to put up during their stay was unbearable. However, being the gracious host that I am brought up to be, I treated them fairly well and contained all my frustration and anger in me. They are a bunch of loud jakun adolescents who finally got their first taste of clubbing life in KL. It was Maison on their final night which the bill came up to RM200++, none of which had anything to do with me. I didn’t have any drink at all because I was so pissed at the stubborn girlfriend who kept saying “So boring leh. I must go clubbing if not people ask me back at JB I have nothing to tell them”. So it was “clubbing” on a Tuesday night. Everything was constipated and the place was half-full of loud show-offs, spoilt underage brats. All I did was find a comfortable spot, sat down, did more people-watching, paid the bill (forged dad’s signature), got a cab and went home.

Update #2

I had a wonderful dinner last night. Oysters. Fresh oysters, fried oysters with egg and oyster soup. It was GOOD and satisfying, better than chocolates. That and all the seafood made me a happy person last night.

Update #3

Parents and I went on a search for cars late yesterday afternoon. Saw some very nice cars and went on a few test-drives. The salesperson urged me to test out Toyota Harrier. He seem very keen on the idea so I didn’t want to decline his kind offer. I bet he regretted offering me to test-drive. Poor Ken (the salesman) was clutching the side-handle throughout the test-drive session. It was rather comfortable but I find the car a bit too big for me to handle. Dad tested ML350 and Cayenne for the fourth time over the span of two months.

Back at the office, dad was seen doing mental calculations and more calculations on his notebook, obviously calculating his liability and monthly instalment if he is to get the ML or Cayenne. Frankly speaking, he can afford any car he wants, but it is the matter of whether he wants to bear the liability or not. More frankly speaking, I hope he keeps the current 3 series and change my wrecked Myvi into something else instead. What? You thought they were looking at ML and Cayenne for me? *laugh in a hysterical manner* NO WAY. I might crash it on the day I get it.

Update #4

I hate Honda and Toyota drivers, especially Toyota Altis and Toyota Camry drivers. They are the foulest creature on the face of Earth. Uncivilised and rude, they are. They are the ones who always tail me closely on the highway even though I was driving at 120km/ hr on the middle lane; they are the one who cuts off my lane in a very dangerous manner, which if not for me being careful, might have led to traffic accidents and left me as a statistic in the yearly traffic accident counts.

I am very annoyed by people driving these cars.

Update #5

My car is finally in the workshop to get the passenger door fixed, the dents removed and the steering wheel alignment corrected. The mechanic who happens to be my mother’s childhood friend saw the state of my car and gave me a loud and sarcastic “woah…” whereas I flashed him a cheeky grin.

I hope it won’t cost too much to fix everything. I can’t stand dad telling me how expensive it is to maintain me. However, I do feel out of place without my car. *gasp* I am emotionally attached to my car.

Update #6

I finally permed my hair and finally the hairdresser did a fairly well job with my hair, compared to the horrible job he did with my fringe, which was reduced to horrible bangs and tortured everybody’s eyes. At least the perm isn’t a too radical change. I suppose it looks fine because even Jon who is always quick with his sharp insults didn’t find much to complain about it. Compared to the time I had bangs, his comments this time were surprisingly mild and subtle. However, I still need to colour it or else I look like a “1920s Shanghai concubine”, according to cousin’s girlfriend (maybe that’s why I couldn’t get along with her).

Right. Xiao, a picture you said? There you go:

Just kidding. OMG my sister and I do look alike. She is sporting the bangs now.

Alright. The real picture:

Not exactly my best picture. Taken before going out yesterday. Hate the fact that one of my eyes is covered by my fringe but that will do for the time being. More pictures after I come back from Singapore okay? I hope I am skinny enough for Singapore. You see what I mean about colouring my hair? What about pink colour, my fellow PL2? =P

Update #7

I am reading Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and I have to say it is superbly written. Wilde’s wits swept me of my feet since the days I was doing The Importance of Being Earnest and this time, he swept me off my feet again with the fantastic preface (I spent15 minutes on it to fully grasp Wilde’s idea), witty lines and frivolous storyline. Just between you and me (rubbish! The whole world knows on the minute I click the “publish post” button), I find his only novel hauntingly sexy. Who cares if he was homosexual? I adore him.

Alright, back to my reading. Have a nice day people.

p/s: I miss my classmates and friends and you. Who? You-lah.
